A good camp takes care of its people, and so does Burn Life. These community standards are how we keep this corner of the culture as safe and welcoming as the best camp you have ever wandered into.
Consent applies everywhere. On the playa it covers photos, touch, and participation — here it covers the same. Get consent before posting identifiable photos of other people, respect boundaries in every interaction, and take "no" gracefully. Harassment of any kind gets members removed.
Radical inclusion is a rule, not a vibe. First-timers, veterans, artists, spreadsheet wizards — everyone participates as their full selves, and nobody gets gatekept for being new, different, or unfamiliar with the jargon. Body-shaming, hate, and exclusionary behavior have no home here.
Everything is reviewed. Our moderation team reviews every photo and video before it appears, and verified members carry a badge so you know who is real. Keep uploads legal and respectful of the people in them; content that fails that test is removed.
Look after each other. This is an 18+ community, and self-reliance travels with mutual care: if you see behavior that endangers someone — online or at an event being organized here — report it. Report tools are on every profile and post, and we act on every report. The culture survives because its people protect it; thank you for being one of them.
